The Spektrum™ DX18t tray transmitter brings innovations to RC users that are sure to make it popular with a wide audience. For starters, it comes equipped with 18 fully-proportional channels, voice alerts, a wireless trainer function, telemetry and extensive programming functions for just about anything you want to fly. Switch Configuration Made Simple
Instead of having to adapt all your models to a single switch configuration, the DX18t gives you the option of replacing switches using plug-in modules. Just plug in the combination of left and right switch modules that best suits the type of model you're operating. The DX18t will automatically update the available switch options in your programming menus whenever a different module is installed. A standard airplane/heli switch module configuration is included. Extra switch modules are available separately that let you tailor the switch configuration for more specialized applications, including gliders.
Optional Control Sticks with Switches
The DX18t gives you the option of adding control sticks with switches installed on the end of each. These switches can be assigned to any function and are recessed to prevent accidental activation. You can even assign them to a trim function so you can make adjustments in flight without taking you hands off the controls.
Max Out Your Functions
The DX18t is compatible with X-Plus™ receivers. These receivers allow you to add up to eight extra channels using an X-Plus 8-channel expansion module. Just plug the module into the receiver and bind it to the transmitter. The DX18t’s software will allow you to assign the extra channels to any function desired. It’s flexibility like this that makes the DX18t such a great choice for applications like scale models and high-performance sailplanes.
