Features

The Ultimate Spektrum System for the Specialist.

Besides giving you the speed and security of DSMX and a wealth of programming features, the DX10t transmitter will give you the option of adding 8 extra channels and customizing the interface with different plug-in switch modules. Each switch module optimizes the switch configuration for one of four model types airplanes, helicopters, ships and vehicles. When you plug new switch modules in, the DX10t software will automatically present you with all the necessary menu options needed to use the new switch configuration.

The DX10t will also allow you to switch between Mode 1, 2, 3 and 4 stick configurations without ever having to open the transmitter. You will also enjoy the built-in telemetry and the convenience of an SD card slot that makes it possible to store telemetry data, expand model memory, make updates and share setups with other DX10t users. An AR10000 10-channel DSMX receiver and a 2500mAh LiPo transmitter battery is also included.

* Requires X-Plus channel expansion module sold separately.

Max out Your Functions.

The Spektrum™ X-Plus™ module lets you add 8 extra switch channels to specially equipped Spektrum transmitters and receivers with 10 or more proportional channels. Just plug it into the X-Plus port of a compatible receiver. It is ideal for scale modelers who like to push realism to the extreme with working accessories and lights in addition to the regular control functions.

Switch Configuration Made Simple.

Instead of having to adapt all your models to a single switch configuration, the DX10t gives you the option of replacing switches using plug-in modules. Just plug in the combination of left and right switch modules that best suits the type of model you're operating.

The DX10t automatically updates the available switch options in your programming menus whenever a different module is installed.

A standard airplane/heli switch module configuration is included. Extra switch modules are available separately that let you tailor the switch configuration for more specialized applications like gliders, scale ships or complex trucks.

Airplane/Helicopter

Airplane/Helicopter L1 + R1

The DX10t comes with a standard airplane/heli switch configuration consisting of an L1 and R1 switch module combination.

Glider

Glider L2 + R3

The combination of an L2 switch module with an R3 switch module is perfect for gliders and provides switches for up to 10 flight modes.

Marine

Marine L2 + R2

The combination of an L2 switch module with an R2 switch module is particularly useful in marine applications requiring with multiple functions.

Truck

Truck L2 + R4

The combination of an L2 switch module with an R4 switch module works well for RC tractor trailers, scale armored tanks and battle bots.

Spektrum Data Interface. Share. Expand. Save.

Beyond new software and telemetry, the DX10t gives you the benefit of the Spektrum Data Interface. The SDI is designed for use with standard SD memory cards and adds a whole new level of flexibility and ease-of-use. With the SDI, you will be able to:

Share Model Setups

Share setups with other DX10t owners at the field or transfer them from your SD card to your computer and attach them to an e-mail. This makes it easy to gain from the experience of others or help others succeed.

Save More Models to Memory

The DX10t has enough on-board memory for up to 50 models before you even need to think about using the SDI. But with the SDI, memory for thousands of models could be stored on the SD card or transferred to a PC hard drive for backup.

Stay Up to Date

With the Spektrum Data Interface, you won't have to send your DX10t into a service center to get the latest Spektrum™ AirWare™ enhancements. You can download them onto your SD card and upload them to the DX10t yourself.

Superior Ergonomics. Made to Fit the Way You Fly.

Spektrum knows that all the capabilities in the world aren't much good if they're a pain to use. That's why the DX10t was designed from the outset to be the most comfortable tray radio you will ever use.

Overview

The Spektrum DX10t is an extremely light-weight, universal-application, high-end tray radio. The DX10t is a modular design, so customizing its switch layout for the proper application means no matter what kind of modeler there is, the 10t has everyone covered. It features the next evolution of Spektrum’s AirWare software, which has been thoroughly refined and expanded, offering modelers a level of functionally and customization never before available. The DX10t supports up to 10 flight modes in Sailplane mode and 5 flight modes in ACRO and Heli, allowing for an unprecedented amount of user personalization, ideal for competition modelers. The switch modules are interchangeable, and assignable, allowing for customized switch positions depending on user application. The radio will allow for real time telemetry feedback, an SD card reader built in, meaning model transfer and the ability to upgrade the radios software over time. The SD card will also allow for data writing, so information gathered during use will be stored on the card, allowing for an in-depth look at model performance. The DX10t includes the high-speed AR10000 10-channel receiver and a 2500mAh LiPo battery for extended field use.

Shoulder harness is available separately.

The DX10t transmitter is not compatible with the Spektrum AR6000/BR6000 receiver.

Bulletins

Attention Owners of the Spektrum DX10t Transmitter (SPM2800US/SPM2800)

It has come to our attention that a small number of DX10t transmitter antennas were crumpled during the installation of the antenna cover at the factory. This can cause poor radiation patterns from the transmitter, which in turn may affect signal range. While the number of affected transmitters is very low, we believe the risks of flying with a crimped antenna are significant enough to warrant inspection of all DX10t transmitter antennas.

This bulletin outlines the procedure DX10t transmitter owners should use to inspect the condition of their antenna and, if necessary, take corrective action. If it is needed, Horizon Hobby will provide antenna tubing free of charge.

To see if a transmitter is affected, DX10t owners can open the right-hand side door on the front of the transmitter to check the PID number. Affected PID numbers are: xx202B, xx203B, xx204B, xx205B, xx206B, xx207B, xx208B, xx209B, xx210B, xx211B, xx212B, xx301B, and xx302B.

NOTICE: Transmitters with Product ID numbers (PIDs) ending in HA, LH, ON or CM have been checked before shipment and are not included in this product bulletin.

Antenna Tube Installation Instructions

  • Pull the antenna cover from the antenna base to expose the antenna wire. Carefully straighten the antenna, being careful not to disconnect the antenna from the RF module.
