Product: Dynamite® 40A Brushed WP Electronic Speed Control (DYNS2201) found in the following ECX® 1:10 2WD LiPo Vehicles: ECX03130T1, ECX03130T2, ECX03131T1, ECX03131T2,
ECX03133T1, ECX03133T2, and ECX03154

Horizon Hobby has become aware of an issue with the Dynamite® WP 40A Brushed Electronic Speed Control (ESC). In certain circumstances, the ESC may produce excessive heat, smoke, or possibly fire. This may lead to property damage and injury.

Discontinue use of the product immediately, and follow the steps below to exchange the product. Fill out a Return Request Form by clicking here or type the following URL in your address bar: http://www.dynamiterc.com/ProdInfo/Files/dyns2201_recall_rrf_01112017.pdf

After completing and submitting the Return Request Form, Horizon Hobby will e-mail a pre-paid shipping label for you to use to return the defective ESC. Once the ESC has been returned, Horizon Hobby will mail you a replacement ESC. Please allow 14–21 days for processing and delivery.

Read ALL instructions. If after reading these instructions you are not confident in your ability to replace the ESC, please contact the appropriate Horizon Hobby Service Center for further support.

Required Tools: Side cutters, #2 Philips head screwdriver and zip ties.
