Spektrum has released a new 8-channel DX8, and has us all wondering what is in store for RC pilots when they get a chance to use this radio. Of course it has the Spektrum DSM technology, but with real-time telemetry this system represents a breakthrough in 8-channel sport-level radios. The pilot will now have the ability to monitor signal quality as well as things like Receiver Pack voltage, cylinder head temperature, rpm, and flight pack voltage as well as many other things. All this information will be visible right from the transmitter screen. But there is much more to the new radio than the telemetry. Matt McCarty, Spektrum product developer, will give us some insight into the DX8 and just what it can do for RC pilots around the globe.
